LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO THE BAND... ABRAHAM LABORIEL-Bass What can you say?!? Abraham's list of credits reads like a "Who's Who" List of Christian as well as Secular Music Giants... from Quincy Jones to Michael Jackson, from Sting to Barbra Streisand, from Enrique Iglesias to Julio Iglesias, from Amy Grant to Michael O'Martian, from the early days of 'Koinonia' to the recent Monster jazz release with Vinnie Colaiuta and Michael Landau, from Presidential Inaugurations to Pope John Paul Himself; there really isn't anyone in Music that hasn't been touched by Jesus through Abraham! ...and the Best part is: Abe loves the Lord MORE than he loves Music!! Add to that list, Abe's powerful contribution to over 50 award winning "Praise & Worship" Projects for me with Integrity's Hosanna Music and you get an idea of how God is using Abraham... Then consider the number of great session players and Music Industry people that came to know the Lord through Abraham's simple, honest Testimony in Studios around the World... Father Abraham really does have many Spiritual 'sons & daughters' in the Christian Music 'Family'-- I'm sure I wouldn't be writing this article to you today, if it hadn't been for Abe's influence on my Life! I am proud to call him a Friend and a Partner in this new "Worship Alliance" adventure. JUSTO ALMARIO-Saxes & Flute Again, Music Industry credits for days in every field- Latin, Jazz, and Pop Music; plus a long list of Movie scores and television credits; going straight from our Festival in Korea to go on Tour with Jennifer Lopez. Colombian-born; Justo is a strong Spiritual Leader in the group (his middle name is 'Pastor'!) Often times, I feel like Justo is my 'Voice' and my 'mouthpiece' in my arrangements; since he is able to 'Sing my Heart' and express my musical ideas so eloquently through his instruments. PAUL JACKSON, JR.-Guitar Probably the most brilliant Musician I know! A powerful combination of finely-tuned technique, great musical instinct, and a Heart that is overflowing with Love for God. Paul as a Master-Session player has added his talents and Gifts to just about every Artist in Music; the List is simply too long to print here... Start with Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Elton John, ...well, you get the idea! Watch for Paul's new Solo album, "The Power of the String", available in stores now. CHESTER THOMPSON-Drums Phil Collins called Chester, "the Greatest Drummer in the World"; and I have to agree! After making his mark with Jazz Legends like 'Weather Report' and Frank Zappa, Chester added his powerful Groove and Passion to the band Genesis and Phil Collins; in addition to working with us on the Ron Kenoly albums for Integrity; the first 'Praise & Worship' project ever to receive "Gold Album Status" by the RIAA. SHEILA E.-Percussion After years with Prince, Gloria Estefan, and nearly everyone else in Music, multiple Grammy Awards, etc, Sheila met Jesus and brought all her Fire and Energy and poured it into Christian Music. Her Solo Concert and Testimony were one of the most Powerful moments of the Festival! Watch for her new Solo Project, "Heaven"; arriving in stores soon. HARRY KIM-Trumpet A Master-Craftsman on his Horn, Harry is probably best known for leading the Brass Section for Phil Collins, Genesis, Jennifer Lopez, and many other top-name Performers. When it comes to blowing down a 'Wall of Jericho' like the border between North & South Korea, Harry is the Man for the Job! CARL ALBRECHT-Percussion Carl has been my 'Secret Weapon' since we were... well, since we were teenage 'rebels' in our Church in St. Louis! Carl has worked with me on over 60 Integrity Music Albums winning Gold and Platinum Status and Dove Award Honors. He has contributed his powerful Drum and Percussion creativity to all the Best-Loved Christian Artists and Worship Leaders in music today! TOM BROOKS-Music Director & Keyboards ...and then there's me-- I feel like I've been Producing Integrity Music Albums... well, I HAVE BEEN Producing Integrity Music Albums since before there even WAS an Integrity Music!
